Paulina Monckeberg Bruner is a Chilean graphic designer graduated from the Universidad de Chile, also studied Marketing and Advertising. She is the sister of the minister Cristian Monckeberg and niece of journalist María Olivia Monckeberg. She became known for the creation of the famous "Pascualina" notebook bought by thousands of teenagers. She created the character of Pascualina in 1989 and the first copy went on sale in 1990. According to her, the notebook "was born with the aim of training little girls. It proposes to improve their character day by day and helps them grow as people." Years later, the controversy arose that the notebook contained conservative and sexist messages about sexual freedom, femininity and obedience as fundamental values. This was because Paulina was a member of Opus Dei that is she has vows of chastity, poverty and obedience to the branch of the Catholic Church. What is your opinion about smart phones? In my opinion, Smart phones are equipment very used for people. Occupying them a lot can have consequences in sight. For this reason, people should stop depending on them. What is your opinion about women in the military? I honestly feel that it’s very well. Women can be in any job. Today, there isn’t gender discrimination; on the contrary, it's a pride to have a woman in that kind of job. What is your opinion about the Chilean politicians? I strongly believe that they are hypocrite. They talk about fighting for the people's needs, however they earn a lot of money being politician, money that no average person earns. Post 4: My eternal obsession

What most obsesses me is watching sports. I really like to watch the Olympic Games, the World Athletics Championships, gymnastics, football (especially when Chilean footballers play in the European leagues) and tennis, which is what I have been seen the most in this last weeks. Every night I stay to watch the sports news on television. I also follow many athletes on Instagram and pages that report the latest news from Chilean athletes. I feel that this obsession is because I love to see the improvement, the effort and the passion that athletes have. I have always been captivated the speech of the Chilean athletes. They say that they are proud to represent Chile in any event even though the country doesn’t invest in sports.   Today my big target is go to see the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago de Chile.
